Kenyans Engage Nigerians in Twitter Fight over Zuckerberg’s Visit

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg visited Kenya and Nigeria and enjoyed nice moments

However, the visit has degenerated into a vicious fight between Kenyans and Nigerians on Twitter

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) and Nigerians on Twitter (NOT) are known to have bitter exchanges at least once or twice a year over a number of issues.

The last time it happened the war was so intense that a cease fire had to be called.

But with the famous visit of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to Nigeria and then Kenya, the war has yet again erupted with tantrums being thrown right, left and centre.

The hash tag #KenyavsNigeria was first started by Twitter sensation Xtian Dela after a Nigerian social media user shared the photo of Zuckerberg eating fish at Mama Oliech’s and claimed he was enjoying Nigerian food.

Unforgiving Kenyans trolled the user for the better part of Friday, September 2, forcing her to apologise.

But that did not end there. A vicious war has erupted under the said hash tag, with Kenyans and Nigerians trolling each other viciously.
