Pius Adesanmi

His first book, The Wayfarer and Other Poems, won the Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry Prize in 2001. A widely-cited columnist and commentator on African politics, literature, and culture, Dr. Adesanmi teaches African literature and cultural studies in the English and French Departments and the Institute of African Studies at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
